Bone to pick

Kai Anderson’s story is an important one. Diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, he will die without a much needed bone marrow transplant – Kai is not even five years old. Tragically, it reminds all of us that a deadly and catastrophic illness can strike anyone … it does not discriminate.

Kai’s story is also one of courage, determination, and hope. This brave little boy and his family have vowed to fight and find a cure for all individuals diagnosed with leukemia.

Every five minutes, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer, such as leukemia and lymphoma. Every ten minutes, blood cancer takes a life. Currently only 3 in 10 patients will find a matching donor that could save their lives.

What if you were a match to save someone's life?

The worst situations in life often bring out the best in people and that’s where you can help.
