Right away, I knew we wouldnt be there for too long. The sun was going down, and it was cold! Ok, so cold, like in the low 60's. But it was also windy. So after about 20 minutes or so of playing in the water, the kids were freezing and ready to get back to the car!
I'm so glad we stopped in Destin! We have always heard great things about it, and the beach really was beautiful. Too bad it wasnt earlier in the day and sunny. We couldve stayed longer. Oh well..we'd better go another year!
